Y/n's POV
Packing up my things when the last bell of the day goes off I quickly leave the school and start my journey home only to feel slightly uneasy when I spot the weird guy that had been hanging around the school during first period. Pulling my phone out of my pocket I phone mum who answers with a distracted hi making me chuckle slightly. "Hey mum, uh... I know that you're busy with work but is there any way you can talk to me until I get home? There's a weird guy hovering around the school and I just... he's making me feel uneasy. He's wearing faded denim jeans, a grey t-shirt with a green jacket and a black baseball cap. Nobody seems to know who he is and he's been hanging around all day." I ask her while describing the guy and can hear shuffling before she's talking to me properly.
"Of course I can sweetheart." She says and I relax slightly at that as I continue on my way home but can see the guy following me out of my peripheral. "How was your day sweetheart? Did you finish all your work?"

"Long we had double p.e for the first two periods which I had to sit out because the class are swimming at the moment. Or well we were meant to but there was a guy hovering by the windows which had us move into the gym where there was more privacy. After break I had a surprise maths test that the teacher was sure she told us about until she looked at our schedules and realised she hadn't so if I fail that it's on her. I also had to change into my p.e. Kit I keep in my locker after a nosebleed and Sasha spilling her juice down me. Which reminds me I really need to get some new clothes this blue GAP top with the white butterflies and my black leggings with the white stripes down the side are getting too small for me." I tell her as I speed up my pace slightly when I feel the guy behind me and make sure to describe as much as I can to make things easier if anything should happen. "I really don't like this mum, he's following me." I say quietly so not to draw his attention to what I'm doing, that's one thing mum had always drummed into me. If I'm ever in situations like this then don't draw more attention to yourself than is necessary unless you want to put yourself in more danger.
"I know sweetheart but you're going to be okay. Just keep telling me about your day and remember not to draw to much attention to yourself." She tells me and I nod as I keep telling her about my day but tense up slightly when I feel a hand rest on my shoulder. "Y/n? What's going on sweetheart? Talk to me." She says and I try to but my phone is taken out of my hand by the guy.
"Sorry Stella but y/n can't talk at the moment. She's going to spend some time with her old man." The guy says before ending the call and dropping my phone, stamping on it in the process before his hand covers my mouth and that's the last thing I'm aware of before everything goes black.
Stella's POV
Staring at my phone with wide eyes after hearing Martin's voice for the first time since I left him sixteen years ago I quickly try to call y/n back but get met with her answer phone making me groan as I grab my blazer and storm out of my office. "Stella? Have we got a lead?" Matthew asks and I look at him for a second before shaking my head as I make my way out of the station with him hot on my heels. "Where are you going in such a hurry then?"
"To find y/n. She called me asking if I could talk to her while she walked home because she was feeling uneasy. There was a guy hanging round the school giving her the creeps and started following her home. Turns out it was her dad and he's taken her." I tell him as we move out to the car and he looks at me confused. "I met y/n's dad, Martin, while I was undercover in a drug den. He was my assigned partner from another station and we went in together as a couple. Turned out that he was a bent cop that... did unspeakable things and I soon found myself being pulled out of the operation by my superior. Two months later I found out I was four months pregnant. I reported everything to my superior and Martin along with the rest of the den were arrested and sent away for twenty five years, some how he's out and has y/n."
